For many students, the Expanded Learning Program is the key to success in school. They can broaden their horizons with art, music, gardening and crafts, or use the extra time to focus on homework assignments. There is something for everyone but class sizes are limited, so apply today!
Class Descriptions: Grades 1-3
Body Movement (Grades 1-3, Mon): Dance class will include: warm-up/stretches, exercises to improve coordination skills, movement and basic choreography done to the groups’ choice of music. Will include some GoNoddle dances.
Drawing/Art Club (Grades 1-3, Tues &/or Thurs): Art Club with a theme or materials focus for each session
HW Club/Reading Club (Grades 1-3, May apply for Tues. &/or Thurs): A quiet time for students to work on HW/unfinished work or a time to read. Enrollment in the after school program does not guarantee homework completion on a daily basis and is not tutoring.
Games & Legos & Robots (Grades 1-3, May apply for Tues, Thurs & or Friday): Students will create, build, play, explore and collaborate.
Junior Gardening Club (Grades 1-3, Thurs): Students will learn the basics of gardening and create junior garden projects.

Class Descriptions: Grades 4-8
Mystery Science (Grades 4-8, Fri): Come and learn and explore science with engaging and hands-on investigations
HW Club (Grades 4-8, May apply for Mon, Tues, &/or Thurs): A quiet time for students to work on HW/unfinished work. Will be offered with priority to the “most needy” students. **Enrollment in the after school program does not guarantee homework completion on a daily basis and is not tutoring.
Holiday Crafts (Grades 4-8, Mon, Tues &/or Thurs): This fun class will include creative projects for the kids to take home for the Holiday season!
Sewing (Grades 4-6, Mon &/or Tues): Students will learn how to use a sewing machine and start with projects including: pillow cases, a drawstring bag and finish with pj pants.
Gardening (Grades 4-8, Tues & or Thurs): This class will focus on the basics of gardening in the Fall an kids will create gardening projects
Guitar Club (Grades 4-8, Mon, Tues, Thurs & or Fri): Beginning/intermediate guitar instruction with current song choices for students who would like to learn.
Math Support (Grades 6-8, Mon, Tues, Thurs & or Fri): Focus on some of the most essential standards necessary for those grades. Support in math, for classwork/homework. PLEASE NOTE: This is not tutoring nor a guarantee of homework completion.
